1.1   Purpose of Report

To advise the Committee the status of the accountability reports for the last round of Community Services Grants funding in 2016/17 (as shown in Attachment A).

 

Officer’s Recommendation

The Committee note the Accountability Report schedule.

 

CHAIRPERSON’S RECOMMENDATION

That the Officer’s recommendation be adopted.

 

1.2   Background Summary

All the groups that received funding have reported on time, with the exception of:

 

1.  Amputee Society – the start date for the swimming project was put back due to the delay in the earthquake strengthening of the pool at the Napier Aquatic Centre. The project is due to start shortly, once the appropriate number of lifeguards are available, and then the report will be completed.

 

2.  The Parenting Place – this education programme runs in June each year. An interim report has been submitted, and the final report will be submitted at the end of June 2017.
